Short version: your files are processed in your browser and never sent to our servers.

What we do not collect

• We do not receive, store, or transmit your PDFs or images.
• We do not require an account or email address.
• We do not read your file contents.

What we do collect

Like most websites, we may record anonymized, aggregate analytics (page views, country, device type) to understand which tools are used most. We do not collect personal data that can identify you.

Third-party scripts

We load the pdf.js worker from a public CDN (jsdelivr) so we do not have to host it ourselves. The CDN may log standard HTTP request information (IP, user agent) per their policy. The same applies to the Tesseract OCR engine, which is loaded on demand from a public CDN only when you use the OCR tool.

Advertising

PDFSwift displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to deliver and measure ads, and — where permitted — to personalize them based on your interests. Google's use of advertising cookies is described in their Advertising Privacy & Terms. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. Importantly, advertising cookies are entirely separate from how we handle your PDF files — your documents are still processed only in your browser and are never sent to Google, us, or any other third party.

Cookies

We do not set tracking cookies ourselves. The Google AdSense scripts on this site may set cookies for advertising purposes as described above. Where required by law (EEA, UK, and similar), we display a consent banner so you can control or reject these before ads load.
